We look forward to helping you locate blind & vision impaired sport and recreational opportunities that you can enjoy in a safe and healthy manner.

Blind Sports SA is the peak sporting body for people who are blind or vision impaired. Supporting over 10 different sports, BSSA provides a link between the athlete, other sporting community & agencies in SA & the national body, Blind Sports Australia.

We work closely with our affiliated members and other community organisations to promote, encourage participation and develop blind & vision impaired sports at all levels.

Dear member or supporter,

Notice is hereby given that the 2011 annual general meeting of the
Association of South Australian Blind Sporting Clubs (Blind Sports SA) (&
SA Blind Athletes club) will be held at “Can do 4 Kids Townsend House”, 28
King George Ave, Hove SA 5048 on 11th September 2011 at 11.00am (please
arrive at 10.45 am to enable prompt start) for the following purposes:

1. To receive the annual report of the association & affiliated clubs
and the accounts for the year ended 30/6/2011

2. To accept nominations and appoint a new board for the upcoming
year, including reelections

3. To re-appoint SG Kerley & Associates as the company's auditors
until the conclusion of the next annual general meeting of the company at
which accounts are laid before the members

4. To vote on the constitution changes as per attached

In order to prepare for this meeting could all club secretary’s please
forward their annual report to me by the 5th September. Can they also
please pass make sure that all their members are aware of this meeting.

We invite nominations for the board by completing the attached document.
To enable election process to take place during the meeting please return
all nominations prior to 5pm 6th September.

Also if you require any additional items to be included in the agenda,
please forward the information prior to the 18th August 2011 to allow
distribution to all members 21 days prior to meeting.

We encourage all members, friends & supporters of the association to
attend the meeting & stay for a free BBQ at the conclusion of the meeting.
